Morocco Train Schedule
Buying train tickets in Morocco is easy enough. With the information below, you should be able to plan your Morocco trip accordingly. It is advisable to purchase 1st class train tickets (especially in the summer months) so that you will have an assigned cabin and seat. Also, the air conditioning works MUCH better in 1st class (please see our Morocco weather page if you have doubts. Second-class tickets do not have assigned cabins or seats.
Price: You will pay on average 40 Moroccan Dirham (MAD) or US $6 dollars per hour of transport in 1st class. You will pay on average 25 Moroccan Dirham (MAD) or US $4 per hour of transport in 2nd class. You cannot reserve train ticket seats before you arrive in Morocco, but only at the time of departure.
Casablanca Airport (MED V or CMN) to Fez
Notes: You will have to transfer trains at the “Casa Voyageurs” (35 minutes) train station. This train also stops in Rabat (1.5 hours), Meknes (2.5 hours), and Fez (3.5 hours). Keep your tickets with you at all times.

Fez to Casablanca Airport (MED V or CMN)
Notes: You will have to transfer trains at the “Casa Voyageurs” (3 hours) train station. This train also stops in Meknes (45 minutes) and Rabat (2.5 hours). If you are departing from Meknes, then simply add 45 minutes to the departure time of this chart. Additionally, this train can also be taken onward to Marrakesh (add 4 hours from Casablanca, which means the total time from Fez to Marrakesh would be 7 hours). You simply stay on the train instead of transferring at the “Casa Voyageurs” stop. Keep your tickets with you.

Casablanca Airport (MED V or CMN) to Marrakesh
Notes: You will have to transfer trains at the “Casa Voyageurs” (35 minutes) train station. Keep your tickets with you.

Marrakesh to Casablanca Airport (MED V or CMN)
Notes: You will have to transfer trains at the “Casa Voyageurs” (4 hours) train station. Additionally, this train can be taken onward to Fez (add 3 hours from Casablanca, which means the total time is 7 hours from Marrakesh to Fez). You simply stay on the train through Casablanca and do not transfer at the “Casa Voyageurs” stop. Keep your tickets with you.
