Buying in Morocco
Morocco is, by and by, becoming a more popular holiday destination and with an increase in people spending their holidays here on a regular basis. However, if you have made a certain country your regular spot to travel for a summer retreat, it may be worth buying or renting property in Morocco. A country that you will never grow tired of, Morocco’s friendliness and beauty, with the High and Middle Atlas mountains, snaking rivers, and thousand coastlines are key motivations for visiting this gorgeous country.
The entire country is is open and for investment in properties–from hotels, to Riads, to your own home. Europeans, for example, buy property and rent it when not living there. Prices of properties in Morocco are relatively low depending on where you buy and, of course, a home by the sea always costs a little more than a place inland. Depending on your personal preferences, buying property in Morocco lends numerous options.
Marrakech is by far one of the most popular places to buy property. You can have a new house built, buy an already-built home or lease one for a set period of time (usually for a minimum of five years). Agadir, a beach town with foreign appeal, is another great small city to consider. This lively city and popularity amongst tourists in Morocco makes this a profitable place for buying and selling property. The Moroccan property market is currently still growing, and soon to be booming, so it is a great time to jump in and buy your own place or holiday home.
Consider buying land in Morocco if it is your favorite holiday destination while prices are still reasonable. You will always have a place to go and family members and friends can stay there too. If you ever sell the property, you’ll never lose money as values have increased steadily over the last two decades.
