French speaking comedians from France, Canada, Belgium, Morocco, and Switzerland will converge in Marrakech this week to show their funny sides, starting May 8, 2007.
The first meeting of the Francophone Humor Festival has a two-fold agenda. First, Marrakech and Morocco are being showcased as tourist destinations. Secondly, this event enhances the city’s cultural awareness by bringing together artists from different French speaking countries. In this way, different tastes in humor will be experienced by all who attend.
