Holiday in Morocco Growing

Holiday in MoroccoIt is a well known fact that the tourist industry is always on the lookout for new destinations that can be branded as “The Place” to go to every season. Morocco, as a matter of fact, is precisely one of those places, becoming more and more popular amongst tourists in the last few years. Morocco, however, has not hit its peak or plateau of tourist influx. Quite the contrary: Morocco has somehow managed to retain its popularity with Americans, Australians, Europeans, and, more recently, Asians. It is the proverbial tourist magnet and it shows no sign of slowing down or waning in the future. The time to make a holiday in Morocco is now.

Morocco has something to offer every type of critical traveler–from budget accommodations starting at around $5 USD to high class 5 star hotels and riads starting around $300 USD. Not only is it easy to find budget or higher standard boarding, but you can choose from a wide array of Morocco-centered cuisine restaurants, serving local favorites of Lamp and Prune Tagine or Goat and Chicken Brouchettes. Adding to the versatility that is inherently Morocco, travelers can pass through the hectic cities of Casablanca, Rabat, and Marrakech or move to sleepy towns by the sea like Essaouira or Safi. Morocco, then, offers more to a holiday destination than you may have formerly thought possible.

The tourists statisticians expect the number of tourist vacationing in Morocco for holiday will increase by over 30 percent in the upcoming three years. Estimates based on research by key travel experts in the worldwide tourist industry, too, guage that this growth is a very realistic prediction of what is to come for Morocco. Of course, the growth of the tourist industry is a great boost to the local economy and the government is constantly investing in ways to improve infastructure, travel and overall appeal for tourist. In 2006, 6 million tourists visited Morocco. The aim, now, is to increase this figure by more than 10 million in the year 2010.
