Park Plaza Hotels Corporation recently announced the arrival of two new hotels in Qatar and Morocco. These luxury hotels will fall under the management direction of Global V Hospitality Inc. This company is the primary management office for Park Plaza Hotel divisions in Morocco, Egypt and the Gulf States.
The new hotels have not begun construction yet. Slated locations are locations in Doha and Marrakech. The company feels these cities are centrally located for target market audience. Following construction, the hotels will add 281 guest rooms to an already impressive room roster of over 4,000 guest rooms for theentire Park Plaza Hotel Corporation. The new developments keep the aggressive expansion strategy of the corporation in a forward moving presentation.
In addition to keeping in line with corporation expectations, the new properties enhance the overall Middle East and North Africa growth portfolio. The main objective is to continually seek out up and coming cities that offer a wealth of options to guests who reside within a Park Plaza Hotel. That is why Qatar and Morocco were easily selected as the next hotel locations. Each city provides vibrant atmosphere for visitors that will only enhance a stay at the new hotels.
Starting in Qatar, the new Park Plaza Hotel set here is centrally located in the heart of the city. By doing so, hotel guests are a mere 10 minute drive from the International Airport of Doha. Other facilities such as bank branches are within walking distance from the hotel’s front door. This hotel will feature 167 lavish guest rooms with all of the comforts of home provided. These items run the range from coffee makers to flat screen televisions with DVD players.
On the hotel grounds there will be a full service restaurant, lounge with a bar, shops and secure underground parking. Business travelers will welcome three meeting style conference rooms. At the rooftop level, guests will be treated to a scenic view of the Persian Gulf.
The second location in Marrakech, Morocco, features many of the same aspects. The location is in the heart of the city square. This keeps guests centrally located to business and pleasure amenities offered up by the city of Marrakech. The hotel grounds will contain a full service fitness gym, swimming pool and several restaurants and bars. In addition to this, there will also be a discotheque and bowling alley that guest will have full use of. The hotel will feature 114 fully stocked guest rooms. Both locations are set to open in the 2008 – 2009.
