Moroccan Minister of Justice Passes
Former Moroccan Minister of Justice, Mohamed Bouzoubaa passed away on Friday, November 16th following a long illness in Rabat. He was 68 years old. King Mohammed VI called Mr Bouzoubaa a man who had devotion and wisdom, who devoted his life to supporting justice and defending human rights. His Majesty praised the former seasoned lawyer and committed political campaigner. He sent condolences to the family of the deceased calling his passing a great loss for the family and for Morocco.
Mohamed Bouzoubaa served in Morocco’s government as Minister in Charge of Relations with Moroccan Parliament in the late 1990s and again in the 2000. He was Minister of Justice from 2002-2007.
Mr. Bouzoubaa was born in 1939 in Meknes, he was buried in Rabat on Saturday, November 17th. Prince Moulay Rachid, brother of King Mohammed, lead a group of important figures in attending the rites.
