Traveling to Morocco: Cheaper than Ever

A very weak dollar has made it possible for people to book extremely cheap holidays. Far away destinations are always favorites and, of course (especially in the winter season), people will want to take a cheap trip to a sunny destination to escape from the cold. It doesn’t get much sunnier than Morocco. Pack your sunniest wardrobe and depart for a few days to this sunny country to fully recharge your batteries before returning to face the wind, rain or snow.

Morocco is one of the places that you can travel to on a budget tour. This Kingdom has a lot to offer, and inside the country the dollar is still going strong. This means that you will be able to enjoy a fun-packed holiday without spending all your moola. Bring dollars to Morocco and change them into the local currency (the dirham) at nearly any bank–Banque Populaire is a favorite, for example. A dollar will give you about 8 Moroccan dirhams. If you are prepared to fly from Spain, a flight to this warm country will set you back about $100 on a number of budget airlines like Ryan Air or Easy Jet (and you can book online) for the best rates, some as low as 1 Euro plus tax. This tourist-friendly place is best visited between October and April, when the country is not being swarmed by summer tourists.

Make sure to check for last minute travel offers and pack your backpack for a great trip that will cost you next to nothing, compared to traveling in Western Europe. Get to know the friendly flavor Morocco swelters to outsiders and more than likely you’ll make Morocco your regular holiday location for years to come.
