Here is some information that might prove useful to you about how we work.
Bringing Your Own Representative or Escort:
Many agents bringing groups our way feel they need to have one of their agents or escorts on the trip to ensure all goes well. This is OK, but not necessary in all circumstances. Our guides, drivers, and coordinators take very good care of clients throughout the trip. Having one of your escorts come along adds to the overall trip cost.
Meals:
We include all breakfasts in our quotes, but only include lunches and dinners where necessary. We won't include all meals in most cases.
Entrance Fees into Monuments:
We do not include entrance fees into monuments or other historical sites. This gives travelers the most flexibility when discussing the places they would like to see with each of our regional and city guides.
Tips to Guides and Drivers:
We include all tips to guides, drivers, and representatives and will not change this practice. Our guides are guaranteed a certain percentage for their good work and we wouldn't want you to pay for this separately.
We are Not Traditional:
Most often agents who contact us are too "traditional" in how they like their trips to run. Only a few, very high-quality operators work with us because of our pricing and our standards, along with our non-traditional approach to offering clients a truly intimate experience of the country.
Maximum Group Numbers:
Because we are a sustainable and responsible tour operator, we like to hold to a maximum of 12 persons per trip. We won't be using any chain hotels and while we do accept recommendations for accommodations, ultimately, we use places that meet our strict standards and that we have personally inspected on our own.
Why So Strict?
