Chefcahouen to Oulad Ben Blal & Hommar
(2 days / 1 night)
Trekking: 3-4 hrs daily | Driving: 2 hrs
Day 1: Start the trek in Grankha. Have lunch in a remote village of Oulad Ben Blal in the middle of the Bouhachem natural park. Afternoon free in the village. Spenf the night in a rural home.
Day 2: Leave the village of Oulad Ben Blal and trek to the village Hommar at the foot of Mount Soukna. Have lunch then visit a woman's cooperative before heading to Chefcahouen.
Chefcahouen to Mount Bouhachem, Hommar & D'Har
(2 days / 1 night)
Trekking: 6-8 hrs daily | Driving: 3 hrs
Day 1: Drive 15 minutes to Grankha (600 m). Trek for 3 hours up to Mount Bouhachem (1500 m) . After lunch, trek down for another 3 hours to Hommar (530 m). Spend the night in a rural house.
Day 2: From Hommar take transport to D’Har village where you will visit a pottery-making cooperative and have a traditional lunch in a family’s home. Transport back to Chefcahouen(660 m).
Chefcahouen to Azilane, God's Bridge & Akchour
(2 days / 1 night)
Trekking: 6-8 hrs daily | Driving: 2 hrs
Day 1: Start in Chefchaouen and trek to Azilane, a village in the high mountain of Talasemtane National Park. On the way you will trek past Ain Tissemlale, a natural spring. Have a picnic lunch on the way to Jbel Lakraa. Spend the night in a small mountain lodge.
Day 2: After a local, traditional breakfast, your expedition starts towards God’s bridge. It is a natural arch built upon Farda River through the dorsal limestone grounds. Have a picnic lunch, then continue to the village of Akchour where you will take private transportation back to Chefchaouen.
Grankha, Mount Soukna, D’Har & Hommar
(3 days / 2 nights)
Trekking: 6-8 hrs daily | Driving: 3 hrs
Day 1: Begin in Grankha (600 m) and Trek for 3 hours up to Mount Bouhachem (1500 m). After lunch, trek down for another 3 hours to Hommar (530 m). Spend the night in a rural house.
Day 2: Make your way up Mount Soukna (1600 m) then back down to Hommar. Spend the night in a rural house.
Day 3: From Hommar take transport to D’Har village where you will visit a pottery-making cooperative and have a traditional lunch in a family’s home. Transport back to Chefcahouen (660 m).
Grankha, Mount Bouhachim, Mount Soukna and Hommar

Trekking: 5-6 hrs daily | Driving: 3 hrs
Day 1: Start the trek in Grankha (600 m). Trek for 3 hours up to Mount Bouhachem (1500 m). After lunch, trek down for another 3 hours to Hommar (530 m). Spend the night in a rural house.
Day 2: Hommar to Mount Soukna Leave Hommar and make your way up Mount Soukna (1600 m). Tent camp tonight.
Day 3: Another day of full hiking from Mount Soukna and Mount Mejbarra (1500 m). Transport back to Chefcahouen (660 m).
God’s Bridge and Oued Laou
(5 days / 4 nights)
Trekking: 5-6 hrs daily | Driving: 3 hrs
Day 1: Begin trek outside of Chefchaouen (660 m) . Pass green pastures and forests before having lunch at Place D'Espagne. Summit Mount Lakraa (2159 m). Enjoy the panoramic view of the entire region stretching to the Mediterranean coast line. Tent camp tonight.
Day 2: Hike to Taouerarte (1100 m) and spend the night in a small refuge.
Day 3: Pass geological formations and rolling hills surrounded by mountains. God's Bridge is a red-rock formation best viewed at sunset. Spend the night in Refuge Akchour (860 m).
Day 4: Today's hike will not take you to any higher-altitude points as the first days. Tent camp or spend night in a village refuge at Beni Maalla (800 m).
Day 5: Head in the direction of the Mediterranean Sea. Walk through agricultural areas of the Rif Mountains and surrounding Berber villages. Visit Oued Laou and its gorges and take transport back to Chefcahouen.
