Day 1: Begin in Casablanca
Arrive in Casablanca. If you have time, you can
visit the Hassan II Mosque, Habbous quarter, and
the art deco buildings in the center of the
city.
Day 2: Rabat
You have the full day to explore the capital city
of Rabat. You can wander around on your own or
take a guided visit of the best sites this city
has to offer, such as the Hassan Tower and
Mohammed V Mausoleum, Chellah Gardens and
Necropolis, and the Oudayas Kasbah overlooking
the Atlantic Ocean.
Day 3: Meknes
Another full day to explore the sites in Meknes.
You can explore on your own or have a guide show
you the impressive gate, know as "Bab Mansour",
the Hedim Square, the tomb of Moulay Ismail, and
the stables and granary. Spend the night at a
quaint riad in the Meknes medina.
Day 4: Fez
Leave Meknes and head to Fez. You can opt to do a
side trip to visit the sacred town of Moulay
Idriss Zerhoun, grandson of the prophet Mohammed
and first Arab leader of Morocco. The town has an
interesting history since non-Muslims weren’t
allowed to enter at one time. Five minutes away
is the ancient Roman City of Volubilis, where you
can take a guided visit or roam amidst the
ruins.
Day 5: Fez
Spend the day taking a guided tour with a local
Moroccan guide who will show you what this
Imperial City has to offer, such as the Kairouine
Mosque, spice market, tanneries and leather
market, pottery quarter, henna market,
woodcrafters, metal workers, and koranic
schools.
Day 6: Fez to Marrakesh
You can take the train or we can arrange private
transportation for. It will take 8 hours to get
from Fez to Marrakesh. Tonight you can go to the
lively Jemaa el Fna Square to watch the
performers and sample some tasty delights at
different stalls.
Day 7: Marrakesh
Spend the day on a guided visit of Marrakesh.
Walking through the souk (covered market) to the
Ali ben Youssef Madrassa (Koranic school), the
Koubba Baadiyn, and the Museum of Moroccan
Handicrafts. You can explore the Badii &
Bahia Palaces and the Saadian Tombs.
Day 8: Marrakesh
Today you are free to explore this truly
captivating city on your own. You can visit the
Majorelle or Menara Gardens, try your hand at
bargaining in the souk, or spend the afternoon
sipping tea on a terrace overlooking the
square.
Day 9: End in Casablanca
Head to Casablanca for the evening.
Day 10: Depart
