This itinerary is great for those who would enjoy exploring the Imperial cities of Rabat, Meknes, Fez, and Marrakesh. This is one of our top Morocco tours since it gives you time to visit cultural and historical sites, shop in the souks, stay in quaint riads, and sample fine Moroccan cuisine. This trip can be shortened or lengthened to accommodate your dates and can begin in any city. Day 1: Arrive Casablanca
Upon arriving into the Casablanca Airport (CMN), you'll be picked up and taken to your hotel. Following, you may wish to see some of the sights of the city, the best being the Hassan II Mosque.

Day 2: Rabat
The capital of Morocco, Rabat is the first Imperial city you will be visiting. With a laid-back medina worthy of exploration and a nice vibe to boot, you can visit the Oudayas Kasbah, Hassan Tower & Mohammed V Mausoleum, along with the Chellah Gardens & Necropolis. You will be spending the night in a lovely riad (traditional Moroccan home) inside the Rabat medina.

Day 3: Meknes | Volubilis | Fez
Today, you'll travel onward to Meknes, one of Morocco's lesser-visited Imperial Cities. Located here is one of Morocco's most impressive gateways, Bab Mansour. You can opt for a guided visit as an itinerary extra. You'll then head through Volubilis and onward to Fez for the night where dinner will be served.
Included: Private Transport (2hrs), Dinner
Day 4: Fez Guided Visit
In Fez, you will be able to explore the UNESCO protected Fez medina with a private guide, included today since Fez is made up of 9,000 roads and alleyways that are best explored with a local expert. Lunch is included on the tour today.

Day 5: Fez (Optional Cooking Workshop)
Today, you'll have a day free to relax and explore Fez. If you'd like, you can enjoy a wonderful cooking workshop with lunch included. This is an optional itinerary extra.

Day 6: Travel to Marrakesh
Today, you'll travel from Fez to Marrakesh. While you can take the train, some of our tour prices include private transport. If you decide to go via the backroads through Beni Mellal, then add on two hours of travel time to today's journey.

Day 7: Marrakesh Guided Visit
In Marrakesh, today will be devoted to an optional private guided visit (with lunch) of the Marrakesh Medina (you can select this as an itinerary extra). This activity is included at no extra cost for 4-star Deluxe tours.

Day 8: Atlas Mountains (Optional Day Trip) | Return to Marrakesh
You'll have a free day in Marrakesh to continue exploring the sights, souks, and smells. If you'd like to use this free day to take a guided visit of the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains with lunch and transport included, we have this available as an itinerary extra. The roundtrip to the mountains and back to Marrakesh is three hours.

Day 9: Marrakesh to Casablanca
Depending upon your flight time tomorrow, you can stay in Marrakesh or travel to Casablanca this afternoon. If you opt to stay in Marrakesh, travel time to the airport tomorrow is three hours. You might also find flights departing from the Marrakesh (RAK) airport. Day 10: Depart Casablanca
You'll be departing Morocco today, so we hope you enjoyed your journey!

*Adding on one to two days to this itinerary would give you enough time to travel to the coastal town of Essaouira as well.

Meknes Guided Visit
Explore Morocco's lesser-visited ancient and Imperial city with our local guide on this half-day trip who will take you to the famed Bab Mansour, royal granaries, and more.
Cooking Class in Fez
Enjoy a cooking class in Morocco in the Fez Medina. You'll start by going out to buy your ingredients at the local, bustling market. Then, you'll head back to the workshop to begin preparing your masterpiece. The course lasts from 9:30am until 2:30pm and is finalized by you enjoying your meal.
