High Atlas Mountains Trekking in Toubkal National Park

Any of the following treks in the Toubkal National Park can be booked immediately online. You can simply indicate your start date at the time of checkout. Trekking in the High Atlas can be adjusted for various levels. Pick up & drop off in Marrakesh. All treks following can be booked alone or as a part of a longer Morocco holiday.

Asni and Tinzert
Walking: 5 hrs daily | Driving: 1.5 hrs


Day 1: Start in Tagadirt Nosni then up to the Tizi Ntarabza plateau (1500m) with a view of the Ouirgane and Ait Mizane valley. After lunch, continue to the village of Tinzert (1300m). Spend the night in a Berber family's home.

Day 2: Go from Tinzert down to the Marigha Salt mine (1100m). Pass the villages of Imariren Noufla, Anraz, and Lkhmis Ouirgane (1000m). Head back to Marrakech.

Azaden Valley and Tizi Oussem
Trekking: 5-6 hrs daily | Driving: 1.5 hrs daily


Day 1: Begin in Imi Ourlad Tizi Ntacht (2200m). Have lunch in Imi Nifri. Continue through the Azaden valley to Tizi Oussem (1950m) guest house.

Day 2: Go from Tizi Oussem to Tizi Mzik (2400m). Have lunch in Berdoun. Continue walking to Imlil (1750m), then take transport back to Marrakesh.

Imi Ourlad to Imlil
Walking: 4-5 hrs daily | Driving: 3 hrs



Day 1: From Imi Ourlad Tizi Nlbour (1600m) trek to the Imsker guest house. In the afternoon, visit a very old and traditional village called Ait Aisa (1400m).

Day 2: Imsker to the Imnan valley, Arg, Amssakrou, Ikiss, and end in Tinghrin (2000m). Spend the night in a rural guesthouse.

Day 3: Tinghrin Tizi Ntamatret (2279m) to Ait soukka and Imlil (1750m). Take transport back to Marrakesh.

Trekking: 4-6 hrs daily | Driving: 3 hrs


Day 1: Imi Ourlad Tizi Ntacht (2200m) to Imi Nifri. Go to the Tizian village and settle in a guest house following lunch.

Day 2: Tizian Id Aissa to Tahliwin, Tadart, and Tizi Oussem (1950m). Drop bags off at rural guesthouse. Go to waterfall for lunch. Return to Tizi Oussem.

Day 3: Tizi Oussem to Tizi Mzik (2400m). Have lunch in Azib Berdoun (2000m). Return to Imlil and Marrakesh.

Ouirgane to Tiziane & Assif Zegzaw
Walking: 4-6 hrs daily | Driving: 3 hrs



Day 1: Start in Ouirgane (880m). Cross the salty river up to Tizi Takhrkhort (2240m). Have lunch by the river in the Azaden valley near Azerfsan. Walk to the Tiziane guesthouse (1750m).

Day 2: Trek up to Tin N’Toutilte (2400m). Descend past the Asaka river towards the Dakant valley, where you will have lunch. Continue to the
village of Assif Zegzawne (1630m). Spend the night in a rural home.

Day 3: Trek to the village of Tikhfiste and view the Ouirgane valley below. Continue to Torourd, where you will stop for lunch. Hike past the villages of Anraz and Angy before finishing back in Ouirgane (880m), where you can spend the night or take transport back to Marrakesh.

Trekking: 4-6 hrs | Driving: 3 hrs


Day 1: Start trek in Asni to the village of Tagadirt Nosni, then up to the Tizi Ntarabza plateau (1500m). After lunch, continue to Tinzert (1300m). Spend the night in a Berber family's home.

Day 2: Cross the salty river up to Tizi Takhrkhort (2240m). Have lunch by the river in the Azaden valley near Azerfsan. Walk to the Tiziane guest house (1670m).

Day 3: Trek past the villages of Tadart, Id Aissa, Tizi Zgart, and Tizi Oussem. Lunch in Tizi Mzik (2400m). Walk to Azib Bardoun before ending in Armed (2000m). Return to Marrakesh.

Day 3: Matat - Tizi Wodid (2200m) - Azaden Valley- Id Aissa - Tizi Oussem guesthouse.

Day 4: Tizi Oussem (1850m) - Tizi Mzik (2400m) - Berdoun - Armed (2000m) guesthouse.

Day 5: Armed - Imlil - Marrakesh. Walking only one hour today.

Day 5: Armed - Imlil - Transport back to Marrakesh. Walking only one hour today.

Trek down to Armed guesthouse (2000m). *8+ hrs walking today

Day 5: Armed - Imlil - transport back to Marrakesh. Walking only one hour today.
