Day 1: Begin Morocco Tour in Marrakesh
In Marrakesh, you'll stay in a charming little riad in the old medina. The medina, or old city, is a World Heritage Site and you’ll have the rest of the day to wander through or visit the Menara gardens. Tonight try exploring the lively Jemaa el Fna Square to watch the performers and sample some tasty delights at different stalls.

Day 2: Marrakesh
Today, you are free to explore on your own, try your hand at bargaining in the souk. Or, venture off to the Ali ben Youssef Madrassa or the Koubba Baadiyn, Koutoubia Mosque, and the Museum of Moroccan Handicrafts. This afternoon you can explore the Badii & Bahia Palaces and the Saadian Tombs, or head to the new city, Gueliz, to check out the Majorelle Gardens.

Day 3: High Atlas Mountains | Marrakesh
After breakfast, you'll leave for Imlil in the High Atlas Mountains, which should take 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Imlil, you'll hike up to Armed. Armed is a Berber village on the side of a mountain overlooking some valleys and a river, and Mount Toubkal can be seen in the distance. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a meal with a local Berber family, take a day hike, or simply spend the day sipping mint tea and reading a good book while overlooking the mountain vista. Day 4: Essaouira
After coming down from the mountains, you'll head straight to Essaouira. The drive should take three hours. You will have the rest of the day free in this small, laid-back, coastal town with lots of character.

Day 5: Essaouira
You have the whole day to explore Essaouira. You can walk along the ramparts, have grilled fish for lunch next to the port, wander along the beach, stroll through the whitewashed medina, or shop for Thuya wood handicrafts. If you would like and wind permitting, you will be able to try kayaking, kite surfing, wind surfing, or just regular surfing. This is the Wind Capital of Africa!

Day 6: Essaouira to Marrakesh
You will be heading back to Marrakesh and will arrive in the afternoon. This will give you the opportunity to get any last- minute gifts before you depart. Today is the last day of the tour.
