For those who really want to trek Morocco, exploring Ait Bougmez is one of North Africa's truly off-the-beaten path adventures!

North of Fez and surrounding Chefchaouen are the Rif Mountains located within the borders of the Talassemtane National Park. This region is lower in altitude than other areas for Morocco trekking, but means that this is a great place to visit in the fall, winter, and spring.
